"We think the killing part of this is all done--mostly done, probably all done, hopefully--and we're looking forward to seeing just how great this is all going to work out for all of us." --The Witness, #therevolution Opening this year's Global Age Project at Aurora Theater is Kristoffer Diaz's #therevolution, an Occupy-inspired fever dream in which artists and hipsters dispose of their enemies--and accidentally start a revolution. I'm thrilled to be playing The Witness in this exquisite new work by the author of The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Diety. The reading is directed Ben Randle, and also features Marissa Keltie, Denmo Ibrahim, and Heather Gordon. Admission is free; doors will open at 7pm for a 7:30 reading at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley, on Monday, February 10.

I will be performing in Melissa Keith's ten-minute play "A Star is Born" this Monday, January 13, at 8pm at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, as a part of Playground's "California Dreaming" Night. "A Star is Born" will be directed by Tracy Ward and will also feature Elena Wright, Teddy Spencer, and Douglas Giorgis with stage management by Bethanie Baeyen. Tickets for Playground can be purchased at the door, or in advance through the Playground Box Office.
My character is described as a "small, cute extraterrestrial." This is my first non-Earth-based character. I am very excited for this challenge. I hope you'll consider joining Playground Company on January 13th for what promises to be an out-of-this-world night of theatre! |
